About the Workshop:
In this 2.5-hour session, you will create a classic silver bangle from scratch, with the option to add a unique texture to your design. You’ll learn essential techniques like soldering, texturing, and polishing metal, resulting in a beautiful, professional-quality piece.
Working in a group of like-minded individuals, you’ll enjoy a fun creative experience with fellow Cardiff locals.
This workshop is perfect for beginners interested in trying traditional silversmithing methods. You will learn to:
- Thread and use a piercing saw to cut metal
- Work with a jeweller's bench peg
- Solder your bangle
- Shape metal using a jeweller's mandrel
- Polish your piece to perfection
What do you need to bring?
Nothing! I’ll provide all the tools and materials you need. By the end of the session, you’ll have a completely unique silver bangle, made entirely by you!
